Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how High Scale Inc. ("HighScale," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit highscale.ai (the "Site"), apply for access or otherwise interact with us online. It also explains the choices and rights you have, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA").
At a glance
- We collect what you give us in our application form, plus information collected automatically when you browse the Site.
- With your consent, we use Google Analytics and RB2B, a visitor identification service that may match your visit to professional contact information such as your name, job title, company and LinkedIn profile.
- Using RB2B may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law. You can opt out at any time, and we honor Global Privacy Control browser signals automatically.
- We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you apply for access, we collect your full name, work email, mobile number, company website, annual media spend range and the name of the person who referred you, if any. When you request our portfolio or case studies, we collect your full name, work email, company, company website, LinkedIn profile, monthly ad budget, what you would like to see and any message you add. If you email us, book a meeting or otherwise contact us, we collect what you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and, if you allow them, our analytics and visitor identification tools collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from your IP address, and identifiers stored in cookies, pixels or similar technologies.
Information from visitor identification
If you accept analytics and marketing tools, we use RB2B to identify visitors to the Site. RB2B and its data partners may match information about your visit, such as cookies, device identifiers, IP address and hashed email addresses, to professional profile information they hold, including your name, job title, employer, LinkedIn profile URL, business email address and location. RB2B states that it identifies visitors located in the United States.
2. How we use information
- To review applications, respond to you and decide whether HighScale is a fit for your company.
- To contact you about HighScale's products and services, including follow up by email, phone or LinkedIn. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To understand how the Site is used, measure our marketing and improve the Site.
- To protect the Site and our business, including preventing spam, fraud and abuse.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. How we share information
We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers who host the Site and process form submissions for us (Netlify), deliver form notifications to our team's email (Google Workspace), provide web fonts (Google Fonts) and protect our forms from spam and abuse (Google reCAPTCHA, which loads with our forms and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service). They may use information only to provide services to us.
- Analytics and marketing partners, namely Google Analytics and RB2B, which collect information through cookies and similar technologies on the Site when you consent. RB2B may also use this information to provide services to other customers. This is why we treat it as a possible "sale" or "sharing" under California law.
- Professional advisers and authorities where needed to comply with law, respond to legal process or protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers, if HighScale is involved in a financing, merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
4. Cookies and your consent
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing tools. Google Analytics and RB2B do not load unless you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out and these tools will not load.
